What you should know about Elmstead Cottages
Elmstead cottage, a lovely one-room cottage. The area is very popular for its fly fishing. The ski resorts of thredbo (mt kosciusko) and mt selwyn are just over an hour away. Tourist attractions include burrowa-pine mountain national park, corryong with its pioneer museum and jack riley's grave (the man from snowy river). Also available is arthurs cottage, (circa 1887), a charming two bedroom cottage, set on the banks of the cudgewa creek. Platypus roam in the cudgewa creek which runs through the property. Cudgewa (12 km from corryong in the north east of victoria) is nestled in the foothills of the snowy mountains close to superb bushland and great fishing streams. The property is set amongst magnificent elm trees on a working farm with panoramic views. Children and pets are welcome (we have both).
